Trade references can still be extremely helpful for several reasons.
Providing trade references even if they are not requested provides a higher degree of legitimacy to a bid. If the trade references are contacted they can be helpful in getting the job.
We have set up a system making it is easy to ask for references on past jobs. With the click of a button you can send an email to businesses asking if they would be willing to give you a reference for past work. The info you send to them will let them know that you want to use the information to publish it on your profile page for the Sales Transactor in order to establish new business.
All the prospective reference would have to do is type a few words about their past business experience with you and click a button to return the information.
When you login into your account, from your dashboard, click on the references link to view the references that have been returned. You can read what the person wrote about your work experience. If you feel this will help your profile and describes how you conduct business, you can publish it to your profile page with a click of the mouse. If for some reason the information isn't exactly what you were expecting, you can delete the post and not publish it to your profile page.
